In 2007 I completed a degree in Zoology with Conservation at University of Wales, Bangor. I then spent the next 7 years working in the countryside mainly on natures for the Wildlife Trusts, but also for the RSPB and National Trust. I have worked on a variety of habitats including woodland, heathland, chalk grassland, wet grassland, reedbed, and sand dunes. This has given me a wealth of experience and understanding of how to carry out practical management in a way that is sensitive to the environment.
I am qualified and insured for all the machinery I utilise including chainsaws and brushcutters, as well as knapsack sprayers for pesticide application near or in water. I also have Emergency First Aid at Work and completed the Register of Land Based Operative (ROLO) course.
